![]() ![]() ![]() Tidal bores can be deadly and often have destructive consequences, especially on the margins of the rivers. The most famous upstream river waves in the world appear once in a while in the Urumea River (Donostia/San Sebastian, Spain) and River Neet or Strat (Bude, England).įinally, there's the tidal bore, a rare phenomenon that only occurs a few times in a few regions of the world.īores, also known as surges, are tidal events in which a massive and often single wave is created by the constriction of an incoming spring tide as it gets funneled up a narrow and shallow river. In this particular case, the river surfer is actually moving forward while the wave holds a surfable face. In other words, the ocean pushes swell up river mouths and against the direction and flow of the natural river current. They've already built and installed hundreds of static wave machines in hotels, seaside resorts, shopping centers, theme parks, water parks, private condos, airports, leisure centers, and luxurious cruise ships.Īn upstream river wave is a rare wave that forms in the ocean and travels up the river. Wave Loch, Citywave, and Murphys Waves are some of the key players in this multi-million industry. There are small, medium, and big structures used for riding these static waves. Static waves, also known as sheet waves, are waves generated by powerful pumps that project layers of water at high speeds, allowing surfers to ride the energy of the water's movement and flow. ![]() Static Waves: Indoor Wave Pools and River Wavesįrom a surfing perspective, there are two types of static, non-ocean waves: sheet waves and river waves. ![]() Take a look at this brief history of wave pools. Wavegarden (2005), Siam Park (2008), Wadi Adventure (2011), Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch (2015), BSR Surf Resort (2018), and Surf Lakes (2019) introduced new ways of recreating ocean waves in a controlled environment. Wildwater Kingdom (1985), Disney's Typhoon Lagoon (1989), Sunway Lagoon, and Seagaia Ocean Dome (1993) followed before the second generation gradually emerged in the 2000s. It contained 3.8 gallons of recirculating water and was, at the time, surrounded by desert sand. The surf pool was 400 feet long, 300 feet wide, and nine feet deep. ![]()

![]() Some major balance updates coinciding with that DLC made the return trip that much more enticing, but I ultimately lost interest before concluding another run through the endgame. Then in 2017, I dipped my toes into The Crimson Court’s murky red liquid just enough to see the new content. You survive it.Īnd I did survive it, in late 2016, shortly after the game came to consoles. It’s the kind of game you finish with a sense of triumph, yes, but also relief. “The Crimson Court” made things even harder by introducing infectious vampirism that can kill those same heroes at home base. Diving back inĭarkest Dungeon is famously difficult. Learning to mitigate and tilt randomness in your favor is largely the point, but it still gets frustrating when a nasty critical hit permanently kills a hero you’ve spent hours grinding to the level cap. Specifically, it’s now a game I’m happy to “suffer through” all over again. Still, the fact remains that Darkest Dungeon is a fundamentally different game now than it was at launch. Sometimes that leads to controversy and outright hostility among players. But developer Red Hook Studios has never been afraid to dramatically change the flow of its game. This “Endless Harvest” requires very different tactics than the main game and its other major DLC, “The Crimson Court,” where attrition is as much about exploring dungeons as battling monsters. And if your team dies? It’ll just be temporarily lost in time and space, keeping its items and progress without that pesky perma-death. “The Color of Madness” mostly plays out as an endless, wave-based horde mode, granting better rewards the longer a single team survives the thronging masses. Husks aren’t particularly tough but make up for their weakness with numbers. The impact spreads strange, slimy crystals across the surrounding land and its inhabitants, morphing them into a new enemy faction called Husks. Like the story on which it’s based, “The Color of Madness” starts with a comet crash landing into a farmstead. ![]() But it also incorporates a whole new style of endless mission into Darkest Dungeon’s grueling grind. By doing so, you can give your Follower your - previously - best armour, as you yourself find upgrades and switch out your gear. Our Follower philosophy for every class in this guide is to choose the character who most favours the primary stat that your actual hero favours. You get more XP and better rewards for playing on harder difficulty settings, so always turn things up a notch or two if you start to find the pace becoming too gentle. Unless you're playing on Hardcore mode, and so need to play things a little more cautiously, ramp up the difficulty setting until you can rip through enemies without things taking too much longer than they would on the next difficulty down. Zuckerberg, writing this time on Threads, says the app has received 30 million sign-ups in the first 24 hours of the app’s life. In an Instagram post, Mark Zuckerberg talked about the idea of creating a “friendly public space for conversation.” Already the joke of a “friendly” rival to Twitter is being widely shared. The difference and opportunity, according to Meta’s chief product officer Chris Cox speaking in an internal presentation, is to provide a platform that is safe, easy to use, reliable, and “sanely run”. Threads is a “text-based conversation app” that accommodates posts of up to 500 characters along with hyperlinks, photos, and videos. If you’re looking for more competition between the rival social networks, there’s also talk of a cage match between Musk and Zuckerberg, which appears to be the way that major celebrities go about settling differences these days. Should Threads continue to grow at this rate, it could match Twitter’s user base by the middle of this month – though that is deeply unlikely. Twitter, meanwhile, was never a big source of ad spending compared to the Meta juggernaut and fulfilled an idiosyncratic role that garnered more passive attention than other platforms. The appetite for testing will likely match user appetite for the app itself but given that a lot of companies big and small already use Meta’s ad manager, the same offer of convenience to users will presumably translate to advertisers too. Some brands are already posting organic content to the site. ![]() ![]() Not yet, but with the company specialising in the plumbing of advertising around social media, one suspects that advertising on Threads is no distant prospect. This time, Meta’s clone of the ailing Twitter even borrows a feature of the older microblogging platform for its name, in a tactic that even Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg notes on his rarely used Twitter. It’s not the first, and probably not the last time, that Meta pulls its judo move and effectively clones its way to a new product, Threads – what now? ![]() ![]() Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End (2007) BD 1080p AVC LPCM 5 1 -ChasVA Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End (2007) Xtras BD 1080p AVC AC3 2 0 -ChasVA Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End (2007) 1080p Bluray x265 HEVC 10bit AAC 5.1 EN CH Joy Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End (2007) 1080p Bluray x265 HEVC 10bit AAC 5.1 MZABI Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End (2007).720p.Yts ![]() Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End 2007 1080p BluRay x264 DTS-HD MA5 1 SiMPLE Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean-At World's End 2007 BRRip 720p H264 DXVA AAC-MXMG Subtitle Pirates Of The Caribbean 3-DvDrip-aXXo Subtitle Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End DVD And better still, if you are viewing with VLC on your Pc, you can easily drag and drop the SRT file over the playing movie, and it should work correctly.Select option or tools, then click on subtitles then add the just downloaded Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End subtitles to the player from its location, and it should start displaying right away.
